Team Coverage
Fellows are responsible for providing/assisting with coverage in a variety of settings. This includes but is not limited to high school, small college, and Division I athletics.
Experience
Our fellowship provides a breadth of clinical experiences for the fellows. From low impact to high impact and from scholastic to professional opportunities, we try to expose the fellow to a variety of activities to help them become well rounded sports medicine providers. Our diverse training faculty also allows for each learner to see a variety of diagnostic and procedural techniques as they start to hone their own skills.
It is not uncommon for fellows to perform hundreds of injections throughout their fellowship experience. Fellows will also have direct access to orthopedic surgeons, sport nutritionists, sports psychologists, strength & conditioning coaches, athletic trainers, etc to become comfortable working within a sports medicine team.
